I find this movie typical of Hollywood: big time Asian stars play mentor and therefore, second fiddle, to a 'relatable' young, American hero. You just know when the final showdown comes in The Forbidden Kingdom, the white boy will get all the glory.
It's a shame that Jackie Chan and Jet Li chose this movie to collaborate on.
