While Seasons 1 and 2 were excellent, I found Season 3 less than stellar. If Battlestar Galactica is going to run out of steam, I would rather see it end on a good note than become an unwatchable mess.
I'm happy that they made this decision, because they avoid the train wreck that became of Babylon 5 in their final season (and the unspeakable spin-off series that shall not be named).

I only wish there were four seasons of Firefly!
